Jason Kinkartz, MD, MSc

Dr. Kinkartz received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology at Queen’s University in Canada before earning a Master of Sciences in microbiology and immunology at the University of Ontario, also in Canada. He then received his medical training at Michigan State University in East Lansing. Upon graduate he served an orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Cincinnati in Ohio and moved to Colorado for a fellowship in orthopaedic sports medicine at Steadman Hawkins Clinic in Denver. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
During his medical training Dr. Kinkartz was co-author of several articles in orthopaedic and sports medicine journals. He has also presented at medical meetings and has participated in research. As a sports medicine physician, he has served as team physician or assistant team physician for high school and college teams as well as for the two nationally-known teams, the Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies.
Dr. Kinkartz is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine.
